Victoria Kamaris (b.2000) is a Sydney based artist who practices on Gadigal country. Raised in Wollongong, Victoria’s personal experience and connection with public housing, travel,
and the social embedded narratives within, has informed her artmaking practice currently.
Victoria Kamaris’s practice explores themes of domestic narratives and spaces that reflect the autobiographical concerns within its social discourse. 

Victoria’s cross-disciplinary practice encompasses traditional and expanded print media, typography, digital, and installation. Victoria’s conceptual approach cultivates domestic scenes from past experiences, memory, fragmented thoughts, dreams and trauma to investigate emotionally driven compositions. From print to text, she explores past and current social issues and anxieties that surround the autobiographical concerns of the artist as well as creating a sense of familiarity towards her audience.

Working with traditional and expanded print media, Victoria has exhibited at Goodspace Gallery, The Art Syndicate, curated and exhibited in the National Art School’s Library Stairwell Gallery during the completion of her Bachelor degree and is currently working towards the Grad Show.
