Freyja is an emerging Wiradjuri artist. Her practice spans across a variety of mediums. She is currently working with print media and textiles. Ideas of identity and place are questioned and explored, all the while she investigates her Indigenous and Norwegian heritage. The process of creation is just as important to Freyja as the outcome of the work. As there are multiple ways to work with print materials and textiles, she is intrigued by the experimental process of making and remaking. It is through this means of creation, that form these investigations of concept and methodology that she finds fascinating in her work.
