Bronte Bliss is an emerging Australian artist and animator based in Dharawal country, in Sydney, Australia. She creates oil and acrylic-based paintings ranging from still life to portraiture, drawings of creatures, digital works and animation. Using exaggerated brushstrokes, Bronte’s paintings, drawings, and animations convey her fascination with movement and expression. Working across multiple forms of media, including digital and analogue forms, her works explore social change, identity, appropriation and humour through social media and pop culture. Having a grasp on so many mediums means she isn’t afraid to experiment, push the boundaries of art, and develop new forms of expression. Fusing animation, painting and drawing together allows viewers to see artwork from new perspectives. As art evolves, she is unafraid to refine her style as an animator and artist.

For Spotify, she created the digital cover art for American musician Naveynot’s single You’ve Changed in 2021, and her animation was used in British rapper AJ Tracey and singer Mabel’s West Ten Home Video in 2020. Her work has been exhibited at Hazelhurst Arts Centre in Art Rules, 2019-20. She has collaborated with filmmakers creating illustrations for Saving Medusa, 2021 short film and a poster for the short film Trying, 2021.
